Allowance Program

Automatic Allowance Program

The Automatic Allowance Program tops up your account ($15, $25 or $50) on a designated day each month and if your funds drop to $5 before the end of each month. Unused allowance funds carry over to the next month.

Sign up now and you’ll also get a 15% bonus on your allowance top up amount every month. The funds will be deducted from your bank account or credit card every month, so you don’t have to worry about losing unused balances. Please note: bonus funds expire after 30 days.

Here's how it works:
With a $15 Allowance Program and $15 Automatic Top Up Program, for example, you get $2.25 in bonus funds. If you use $10 of your allowance funds within 30 days, the unused $5 from the program will carry over to the next month but the $2.25 bonus will expire. Funds from the Automatic Top Up Program also expire after 30 days.

If an automatic top-up fails for any reason, your unused minutes will be restored if you top up within seven days following your expiry date.

To register for the Automatic Allowance Program:

  1. Log in to My Bell.
  2. Select the My prepaid account tab.
  3. Under Top up options, select Learn about pre-authorized top-ups.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and select the Automatic Allowance Program.

You can also register by fax. Download and complete the PDF form and fax it to the number on the form.
