Active Shield features

Bell Internet Security Services Active Shield searches your computer for malicious programs by monitoring system changes and program behaviour rather than relying on traditional malware signatures.

Active Shield is part of Bell Internet Security Services, which is free with most Bell Internet packages.

Active Shield works continuously while your computer is turned on, searching for the symptoms of malware at work. This includes processes that attempt to change host files and folders, registry keys, browser settings and other vulnerable PC components.

When Active Shield observes suspicious activity, it blocks the process. It then presents you with detailed threat information and suggests a suitable action.
