Your bill may be higher than expected due to one of the following reasons:
Charges billed in advance
Monthly service charges are billed one month in advance, including Internet access or any additional services.
Changes to your Internet service
Your bill will reflect any changes you make to your rate plan or features during any given month.
Partial monthly charges are also assessed when you sign up for a service prior to your next billing date.
Late payment fee
A late payment fee of 3% per month (42.58% per annum) is applied from the billing date if we don't receive your payment within 30 days of the billing date.
To avoid late payment fees:
- If you pay online or by cheque, allow sufficient time for your payment to reach us by the due date.
- Update your pre-authorized payment details (credit card or banking information).
- Check your account status regularly (bill, usage and other account information).
You can update your payment information and check your account status by logging in to MyBell.
Some Internet plans have a monthly allowance for data usage and/or dial-up access. If you exceed these limits, your statement will include additional charges.
