How to reset my modem to its factory settings

Devices connected to the primary Wi-Fi network can connect to the Internet as well as share files with other devices and access the network settings.

  1. On the front of the modem, press the down arrow and scroll to Reset to factory default.
  2. Scroll to Yes and press OK to confirm.
  3. Wait for the modem to restore the factory default settings.
  4. Open a web browser and follow the online instructions.

Resetting your modem to factory setting may be required in the case you forget the administrator password you created.

  1. Press and hold the Reset button on the side of the modem for at least 30 seconds.
  2. The information/power light will flash red five times to indicate the process has started.
  3. Open a web browser and follow the online instructions.
