How to suspend or redirect my Bell Home phone service
What is temporary service suspension?
Temporary service suspension helps you save money by suspending your phone service while you’re away or on vacation without having to disconnect your phone line or change your phone number. Your service is restored automatically on the date you choose.
There are no monthly fees for temporary service suspension (with the exception of Rent-to-own sets, outright sales financing sets and long distance plans with monthly rates).
Prices for temporary service suspension:
- $40 for up to 3 months (minimum of 2 weeks to a maximum of 3 months)
- $50 for up to 6 months (minimum of 2 weeks to a maximum of 6 months)
Note: If your alarm service is dependent on your telephone line, you may not want to suspend your service.
