How to use Digital Voice Call Screening

Choose up to 10 numbers that will be sent directly to voicemail. Your phone won't ring, and you won't be disturbed by unwanted callers. You can even set up Call Screening to direct all private and unknown numbers to voicemail. 

To screen calls from specific numbers

  1. Log in to your Digital Voice account . Click the Customize Features link and then click the Call Screening link.
  2. Select the On radio button.
  3. Enter the 10-digit phone number you wish to screen in the Enter a phone number to screen entry box.
  4. Click the Add button to add the number you just entered to your list of screened numbers.
    • You can screen up to 10 specific phone numbers.
    • To remove a number from the list, click the number to select it and click the Remove button.
  5. Click the Save button.

To screen all calls from private and unknown numbers

  1. Log in to your Digital Voice account . Click the Customize Features link and then click the Call Screening link.
  2. Select the On radio button.
  3. Check the Screen all calls from private and unknown numbers box.
    • Some long distance calls and calls from certain cellular phones can fall into this category and will also be blocked when you screen all calls from private and unknown numbers.
  4. Click the Save button.
