Difficulties with voice recognition:
- For greater efficiency and accuracy, we recommend that you use the Web application to save your contacts rather than saving them through the voice application.
- If you have any difficulties with pronunciation or have a strong accent, we recommend using the voice application to save your contacts. This way, when you make a call the application will compare the name you're asking for with the recording of your voice that you made when you stored the contact. This should result in better voice recognition.
If you often get multiple results or if the application hesitates between two or more contacts, we recommend adding a nickname to problematic contacts.
For example, if you say "Call John Doe" and the application asks you to choose between "John Doe" and "John Dole", you could add a nickname (e.g. Johnny) to one of your contacts. It's easier for the application to distinguish between Johnny Doe and John Dole than John Doe and John Dole.
- If more than one person in your household uses Voice Dialing we recommend you enter contacts in the Web application.
