How to block long distance calls from being made from my Bell Home phone

Contact us

Call Control lets you choose which calls can be made from your Bell Home phone service. You can:

  • Block some or all long distance and 900/976 numbers
  • Create a list of long distance and 900/976 numbers that are allowed for anyone using your Home phone line
  • Block specific local numbers (9-1-1 and 4-1-1 cannot be blocked)
  • Use a private password to bypass the block list to make any calls you need

How Bell Call Control works

Once Call Control is activated, you will be asked for a password if you enter a number from the "Always Blocked" list.

If your password is entered correctly, your call will be completed.

If someone who doesn’t have the password tries to enter an incorrect password, then he or she will be disconnected. The account will be locked after the caller has been disconnected three times.
