My Fibe Wireless Receiver channel changes are slower than usual

If you find that your Fibe Wireless Receiver is slow to change channels, try rebooting the Wireless Receiver Transmitter.

  1. Locate the Wireless Receiver Transmitter (VAP2500).
    • The unit is most likely located near your Fibe modem, and connected via an Ethernet connection.
  2. On the back of the Transmitter is a On/Off switch.
  3. Turn the switch to the Off position, and then back to the On position.

The Wireless Receiver will temporarily lose the TV signal, but will automatically connect back to the Transmitter in a couple of minutes.

To verify that the channel change speed has improved, go to the Whole Home PVR unit and compare its channel change speed with that of the Wireless Receiver. Both units should now change channels quickly.
