When you change your rate plan or features during the month, your next bill will look different, depending on the type of change you're making.
Changes to your rate plan
Any change you make to your rate plan will take effect on your next billing date. Until that date, you’ll continue to use your old rate plan. As a result, the recurring charges for your new rate plan will replace the charges for your old rate plan starting with your next bill.
Adding a feature
When you add a feature, it will take effect almost immediately. As a result, on your next bill you will see:
- The charge for the next month of service for the feature (billed one month in advance).
- The charge for the partial month of service, beginning the date the feature was added. This charge will be shown in the Other charges and credits section of your bill and will only appear once.
Removing a feature
When you remove a feature, it will take effect on your next billing date. Until that date, you’ll still be able to enjoy the feature. Your next bill will no longer contain a charge for this feature.
